Biography
Born in North Carolina. Rousso attended the Cleveland Institute of Art and graduated from the California College of Arts in Oakland. He was born an artist and successfully worked in many different areas of the art world, from designer for Robert DeNiro’s Tribeca Loft to staff art director for Grey Advertising, working on accounts including Revlon Cosmetics.
He then moved on to creating his own unique 3 dimensional art fabricated from Plexiglass taking on the form of crushed or discarded dollar bills, cigarette packs and candy wrappers to name a few.
Viewers of Rousso’s art appreciate the kinship between his sculptures with 1960’s Pop Art.
